The retention groove on the filter base locks the filter onto the heat shield without any additional hardware. This system features a high quality, computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. Its XLPE material is heat soak resistant and extremely durable. The integrated slotted mounting tabs secure the tube to the radiator shroud and allow for engine movement while off-roading. Stainless-steel worm clamps and silicone couplings are used for strength and durability.
